Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford, born in Bloomsbury (London), was raised by the mother, grandmother, and her godparents. Her father abandoned her family. In her early years, she battled an obsessive-compulsive disorder and suffered anxiety linked to associations with words. Ford became interested in acting during her teens, and joined the National Youth Theatre. After being accepted into the Sylvia Young Theatre School for only a few days, Ford decided that this was not the best place for her. Ford returned for admission to the Central School of Speech and Drama and on the fourth time she applied she was admitted. Shaun Dingwall was one of Ford's fellow students. He was later to play regular roles in the shows Pete Tyler and Doctor Who. Ford received her degree in 1993. Before that, however, Ford made a television debut when she appeared as a character in Surgical Spirit in an episode from the year 1991. Ford took the professional name of Catherine Tate. Tate was seen in television shows including The Bill, Men Behaving Badly as well as London's Burning in the Nineties. Tate's regular involvement in the theatre brought her into The Royal Shakespeare Company, for the 2000-2001 season. Tate was first noticed due to her stand-up comedy in 1996.
