Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in the year 1980. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Her mother is Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered her talents in the world of entertainment when she was just a teenager. In 1992, Kristen attended her first audition. She was given a part of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom to become an agent when she was 13 years old. She was then chosen for the newspaper advertisements and commercials for TV. Also, she began private acting classes at this time. Bell was a character who did not have a credit in Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and music club in Shrine Catholic High School. The school's production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell was then transferred to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student there. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Her first film credit in Pootie Tang in 2001. The scene however cut, and her appearance only appears in the credits at the end. Bell appeared part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
