MelissaMelissa Crystal O'Neil was born on July 12, 1988[1]. She is a Canadian actor and singer. O'Neil was the first Canadian woman to be the winner of Canadian Idol's third season, which aired in 2005. O'Neil is most well-known as an actress because of her performances in the series Syfy as Two / Rebeccaand Portia Lin as well as on ABC as Officer Lucy Chen in the ABC procedural drama series The Rookie. She was voted in the bottom three spots and two contestants were eliminated. After being shocked, judges asked viewers to vote for Melissa O'Neil, who was clearly the most enthusiastic contestant. In the grand final results show on September 14 on the 14th of September, 2005, O'Neil defeated Goudie to be crowned the third Canadian Idol, as well as being the first female winner as well as (at 17) the youngest winner in the show's history.
